North Carolina Environmental Management Commission schedule May meetings in Raleigh

The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission is scheduled to convene on May 7-8 at the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building in Raleigh. Public attendance is permitted both in-person and virtually via computer or phone.

The Commission's committee meetings are planned for May 7, with the full commission meeting on May 8. Relevant materials such as agendas and supporting documents will be accessible on the Commission's website.

On May 7, the committee meetings begin at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. The location is the Ground Floor Hearing Room at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC. Participants can join the meeting through a provided link or by phone using the access code 2439 181 1861.

The full commission meeting on May 8 also starts at 9 a.m. in the same location. The meeting link and phone access code are available for those who wish to attend virtually.

The Environmental Management Commission plays a vital role in the development and implementation of rules designed to protect, preserve, and enhance North Carolina's air and water resources. It oversees the regulations concerning various divisions of the Department of Environmental Quality, which include Air Quality, Land Resources, Waste Management, and Water Resources divisions.
