The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, along with its Got to Be NC program, is set to host the annual Flavors of Carolina food show in Greensboro in 2025. This event will connect over 100 local food and beverage producers with more than 800 buyers from various sectors including retail, wholesale, and foodservice industries. The private gathering aims to facilitate product sales to regional, governmental, national, and international buyers.

Scheduled for January 28 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Special Events Center – East Wing, the event offers a platform for businesses to showcase their products through sampling sessions. "For more than 35 years," noted the department's announcement, "NCDA&CS has hosted Flavors of Carolina shows in Raleigh and other markets across the nation."

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will be available for interviews during the show upon request. Attendees can expect a wide array of North Carolina-produced foods and beverages on display ranging from fresh produce and meats to artisanal cheeses and craft beverages.

Networking opportunities are a key feature of this event. Structured meet-and-greet sessions as well as one-on-one meetings will allow businesses and buyers to discuss potential partnerships. A diverse range of exhibitors including family farms, small businesses, and innovative food producers will present their offerings.

Media personnel attending can conduct interviews with Got to Be NC member companies highlighting their stories and the economic impact on their hometowns. There will also be photo and video opportunities showcasing exhibitors interacting with buyers.

Got to Be NC Agriculture celebrates its 40th anniversary this year since its establishment in 1985. The program has played a significant role in promoting locally grown products while fostering community among those involved in North Carolina’s agricultural sector.
