Governor Offers Reward for Information on Guilford County Murder

On June 22, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Leon Williams, age 30.

On October 27, 2020, at 7:12 p.m., officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded to a shooting in the 500 block of Andrew Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Williams was located suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Williams later died from the injuries sustained in the shooting.
