Oil and Gas Commission Rules Committee to hold meeting on April 16

The North Carolina Oil and Gas Commission Rules Committee is scheduled to convene on April 16, 2025. The meeting is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be held online via Microsoft Teams. In addition, an in-person listening station is available for those unable to attend virtually. This will be located in the Fifth Floor Conference Room at the Archdale Building in Raleigh.

For those joining online, the Meeting ID and passcode for access via Microsoft Teams are provided, along with a phone option for audio access.

The Oil and Gas Commission is tasked with creating regulations for oil and gas exploration in the state. It oversees well spacing, determines areas suitable for drilling, and imposes limits on oil and gas production.
