Later that same day, Adams mentioned her involvement in introducing new legislation aimed at supporting striking workers. In partnership with Rep. Greg Casar and Sen. John Fetterman, she introduced the Food Secure Strikers Act of 2025, which seeks to extend Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to striking workers. On March 28, 2025, Adams expressed her support for federal workers and the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) as they continue to combat actions she described as "disgusting, union-busting attacks." She emphasized the importance of standing by unions, citing their historical role in building the country.
