On February 14, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools reminded families that "Monday, February 17th is a Teacher Workday. There will by no classes. Enjoy the long weekend!" This reminder aimed to inform parents and students about the schedule adjustment due to the teacher workday.
On February 17, the schools invited families to participate in an upcoming event: "Join us for this month's Family Academy on the Go on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 6–7 PM at Allegra Westbrooks Library, 2412 Beatties Ford Road." The event includes an Empowerment Workshop and an Active Reading Together session designed to engage families with CMS departments.
