NFIB State Director Gregg Thompson announced that 84 state legislators, comprising 28 senators and 56 representatives, achieved a perfect NFIB Voting Record during the 2023-24 legislative session. Thompson emphasized the significance of this achievement for small businesses in North Carolina.

"North Carolina is a good state for small business because our legislator consistently supports policies that enable them to grow, create jobs, and support their communities," Thompson stated.

The NFIB Voting Record for this period includes eight key votes in both chambers of the legislature on matters crucial to small businesses. These issues encompass regulatory reform, tax relief, and access to affordable health insurance.

Thompson noted that the NFIB Voting Record does not capture every aspect considered by lawmakers when voting. It also does not provide a comprehensive profile of each legislator or account for their contributions in committees beneficial to small businesses.
