CITY OF ALBEMARLE: An Albemarle Downtown Christmas

 City of Albemarle issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.

Celebrate Christmas in downtown Albemarle on Friday, December 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The festivities begin with the lighting of the Christmas tree located at the Charters of Freedom next to City Hall.

Children of all ages will be able to visit Santa in Courthouse Square Park.

 There will also be activities for children on Second Street as well as a craft at the Stanly County Library.

Food trucks and street vendors will be setup on Second Street for all to enjoy. 

Downtown retailers and will have special extended hours so that everyone can cross off all of the items on their holiday shopping list.
