City of Asheboro issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
There will be no curbside recycling pickups on Thursday, December 23 or downtown garbage pickups on Friday, December 24 due to observance of the Christmas holiday.
The city recycling site located at 630 Transfer Station Place will be closed on Friday, December 24, Saturday, December 25, and Saturday, January 1, 2022.
There will be no curbside trash pickup on Monday, January 17, 2022, (due to observing Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) Monday collections will be on Tuesday, January 18. Tuesday collections will be on Wednesday, January 19.
