Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Restaurants Invited - 2020 Asheville Restaurant Week
Tuesday, January 21, 2020 - Sunday, January 26, 2020EST
Restaurants are invited to join the Asheville Chamber for our 8th annual Asheville Restaurant Week. This event is designed to support our local restaurants during the slower season.
DATES
Asheville Restaurant Week will be held January 21-26, 2020.
COSTS
Chamber member restaurants - $200 (fee increases to $250 on November 16th)
Non-Chamber member restaurants - $500 (fee increases to $550 on November 16th). This non-member rate includes one year of Chamber membership at a discounted rate, for the first year only. Normal rates apply for both membership and Asheville Restaurant Week the second year.
Registration and payment must be received prior to November 15th to be listed on the publicity posters.
MEDIA CAMPAIGN
Asheville Restaurant Week is promoted through a multi-media advertising and PR campaign including social media, radio, print media, billboards and more. Based on restaurant feedback, we will be shifting the campaign mix to increase focus on social media. Please be sure to provide us with your social media contact information as well as photos and content as requested so we can coordinate and maximize our efforts and YOUR VISIBILITY.
Restaurants are responsible for emailing all Restaurant Week materials (logo, menu, photos, etc.) to Judi Willard at jwillard@ashevillechamber.org by November 30th.
The Chamber’s dedicated site, www.ashevillerestaurantweek.com, will feature all participating restaurants with links to their business websites and Asheville Restaurant Week menus.
Printed posters and table tents are provided to each participating restaurant in early December.
MENUS
Restaurants are free to offer specials that best fit their price points. Here are a few samples that have been popular in years past:
$15 Two-Course Lunch (app & entree or entree & dessert plus non-alcoholic beverage, included)
$30 Three-Course Dinner
$30 Dinner for Two (two entrees and two desserts or two entrees and two glasses of wine, etc.)
