State Water Infrastructure Authority to hold meeting on April 16 and April 17

The State Water Infrastructure Authority has scheduled an in-person meeting in Edenton and a teleconference via Webex on April 16 and April 17. The public has the option to attend physically or listen online and by phone. The meeting will discuss matters related to water infrastructure funding and planning in the state.

The sessions are set for Wednesday, April 16 from 2:00 PM to 4:35 PM, and Thursday, April 17 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The physical location for the meeting is the Edenton Municipal Building, located at 504 South Broad Street, Edenton, NC 27932.

Individuals wishing to comment during the public portion must register by 8:00 AM on April 17, 2025. Relevant documents for the meeting will be accessible beforehand.

The authority focuses on managing federal and state funding for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. It also works on developing a state water infrastructure master plan, optimizing funding resources, and exploring best practices.
