City of Belmont Police Department issued the following announcement on March 1.
We chose to recognize #AmericanHeartMonth by offering free CPR training with a goal of training at least 100 people.
Although we had approximately 140 register to attend one of the seven courses, only 70 participated.
We didn't reach our goal of 100, but we are excited in knowing that there are now 70 more people trained to provide high quality CPR if needed.
We will host more courses throughout the year so stay tuned!
