City of Albemarle issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.
You've got to taste what the best grillers around are cooking up at the E.E. Waddell Community Center on Saturday, September 17 at E.E. Waddell Center Community Grill-Off Competition.
For $15, you can eat as much as you want (no carryouts). All proceeds will benefit a community project at the E.E. Waddell Center.
Are you a great griller? Show off your skills! Compete in several food categories including: Chicken, Ribs, Boston Butt, and Grillers' Choice. Cash prizes & trophies will be awarded.
Along with the grilling competition you'll also enjoy games, music, and other vendors.
This event will be held rain or shine.
