City of Albemarle Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 23.
Slide into the senior shuffleboard league. It's free to play!
The league is open to anyone age 55 and older.
Games are held at the Stanly County Senior Center 283 N 3rd St, Albemarle each Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.
The league starts starting August 25 and ends on October 13.
