CITY OF BOILING SPRING LAKES: FEMA Public Notice and Draft Environmental Assessment - Dams Repair

City of Boiling Spring Lakes issued the following announcement on July 13.

FEMA Public Notice and Draft Environmental Assessment with respect to the Dams Repair.  

The Draft Environmental Assessment is available for viewing at the lobby in City Hall for 30 days from July 15, 2022.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) hereby gives notice to the public of its intent to reimburse eligible applicants for eligible costs to repair or replace facilities damaged by the Hurricane Florence occurring September 7, 2018 with an incident closing date of September 29, 2018. This notice applies to the Public Assistance (PA) project for the repair and upgrade of four dam facilities in the City of Boiling Spring Lakes in Brunswick County, North Carolina, implemented under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 5121-5207.
