City of Albemarle issued the following announcement on Apr. 4.
NCDOT will begin resurfacing projects on Monday, April 11th, in the following areas:
-US 52 from the bridge over Little Long Creek to North First Street
-US 52 from North First Street to the area of SR 1259 (Morton Street)
Work on these two projects will take place at night from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
NCDOT recently completed road resurfacing on N.C. 73 (Concord Road) from West Main Street to Rock Springs Road.
