Randolph County Public Health issued the following announcement on Nov. 23.
There are therapeutic activities you can do with those who have Alzheimer’s who are in different stages. There are primarily 3 stages of activities: Early stage, middle stage, and late stage. For those in early stage, you can do trivia games, story telling, or having a conversation. Middle stage would be small tasks such as folding towels, family pictures, or aromatherapy to help with sleep. Late stage would be listening to familiar songs from the person’s past, stuffed animals for comfort, and human touch and love.
