Town of Cary issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
Beginning Monday, November 1, E Cedar Street will close to traffic between Academy Street and Walker Street to allow for the replacement of water and sewer mains along the roadway.
The closure will be in place on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for eight weeks.
Access to businesses along this section of the road will be maintained via driveway entrances on E Chatham Street.
