Pricing for the median home in Marvin decreased during the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Marvin fell by $6,500 while total sales increased by 7.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 57 homes sold, with a median sale price of $660,000 - a 1% decrease over the $666,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 53 homes sold in Marvin in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Marvin for 2019 was $4,484. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,471. This marks an increase of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.7%.
