How did home prices perform in Waxhaw during the second half of 2019?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Waxhaw rose by $43,750 while total sales decreased by 4.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 330 homes sold, with a median sale price of $403,750 - a 12.2% increase over the $360,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 345 homes sold in Waxhaw in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Waxhaw for 2019 was $2,503. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,497. This marks an increase of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.6%.
