The second half of 2019: Mineral Springs experienced a 10% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Mineral Springs fell by $26,000 while total sales decreased by 30.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $234,000 - a 10% decrease over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Mineral Springs in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Mineral Springs for 2019 was $1,226. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,200. This marks an increase of 2.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.5%.
