December 2019: Home prices in Waxhaw increased

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Waxhaw rose by $60,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 35 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $455,000 - a 15.2% increase over the $395,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in Waxhaw in December 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Waxhaw for 2019 was $2,503. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,497. This marks an increase of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.6%.
