January 2021: Locust experienced a 17.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2021 in Locust rose by $48,000 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $318,000 - a 17.8% increase over the $270,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Locust in January 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Locust for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,474, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for January 2021.
