Home prices increased in Charlotte during January 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2021 in Charlotte rose by $42,000 while total sales decreased by 1.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2021, there were 1,109 homes sold, with a median sale price of $268,000 - a 18.6% increase over the $226,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,128 homes sold in Charlotte in January 2020.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,071, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for January 2021.
