University of North Carolina Charlotte issued the following announcement.
Conference USA has announced its initial broadcast schedule for the 2020 football season, including broadcast plans for eight of the Charlotte 49ers' 11 games.
The current confirmed schedule features games to air nationally by the league's primary partners and every C-USA football game is expected to be available on traditional linear television or via streaming.
C-USA games will be available this fall via CBS Sports Network, Stadium, ESPN and ESPN Digital. The majority of these exposures will take place on Saturday, with select Thursday and Friday night telecasts also being featured.
Charlotte will have six games available through ESPN3 or ESPN+, including its home opener vs. Georgia State, Sept. 26 and five C-USA matchups. The 49ers contest at Marshall, Nov. 21, will be available on Stadium. Charlotte's final game of the regular season, at home against WKU, Nov. 28, will be on CBS Sports Network.
The Charlotte 49ers season-opener at 20th-ranked (College Football Playoff rankings) Appalachian State on Saturday,, Sept. 12, will be at noon and aired nationally on ESPN2. Charlotte’s road game at 18th-ranked (AP poll) North Carolina the following week, Sept. 19, will be a 3:30 p.m. kick off on the ACC Regional Sports Network.
