Charlotte home prices rise in July 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2020 in Charlotte rose by $23,000 while total sales increased by 7.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2020, there were 1,825 homes sold, with a median sale price of $259,000 - a 9.7% increase over the $236,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,694 homes sold in Charlotte in July 2019.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,071, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for July 2020.
