Cary home prices fall in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Cary fell by $17,500 while total sales decreased by 59.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 58 homes sold, with a median sale price of $307,500 - a 5.4% decrease over the $325,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 143 homes sold in Cary in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Cary for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,943, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for December 2019.
