Each month, our members have an opportunity through the Chamber's Smart Series to develop professionally in their careers and in their business. In March, join us for an interactive program focused on turning your networking efforts into sales, led by Roger Slagle, CPA, of Mars Hill University.
Through an interactive blend of material presentation, group discussion and hands-on activities, Slagle will cover specific topics such as
a review of the major networking channels and tools
how to establish goals and objectives for networking activities
developing metrics to quanitify outcomes and calculate ROI
a review of the software tools available to track leads and outcomes
Participants will be encouraged to apply each focus topic to their personal networking and career needs, taking away valuable tips to make efforts even more successful. This presentation is relevant to anyone involved in networking for business/professional reasons or anyone interested in learning more about networking and assessing the associated results. The latest trends and tracking software will be discussed as well as metrics to track success.

About the presenter:
Roger Slagle is Assistant Professor of Business at Mars Hill University and has over 20 years industry experience, working for numerous large corporations. He has held the positions of Director of Finance, Corporate Controller, and Chief Financial Officer working with sales teams in quanitifying strategies and helping to identify performance improvements including customer Return on Investment (ROI). Slagle holds dual master's degrees in business administration and accountancy from Western Carolina University and is completing his PhD in Business Management with a specialization in finance from Capella University.
