Wake Forest home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Wake Forest rose by $25,000 while total sales increased by 38466.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 1,157 homes sold, with a median sale price of $302,500 - a 9% increase over the $277,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were three homes sold in Wake Forest in 2018.

The median sales tax in Wake Forest for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,515, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for 2019.
