Charlotte home prices rise in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Charlotte rose by $35,750 while total sales increased by 31.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 1,468 homes sold, with a median sale price of $238,750 - a 17.6% increase over the $203,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,119 homes sold in Charlotte in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,696, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for December 2019.
