Cornelius home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Cornelius rose by $13,000 while total sales increased by 23.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 236 homes sold, with a median sale price of $286,000 - a 4.8% increase over the $273,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 191 homes sold in Cornelius in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Cornelius for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,171, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
