Join us at Hyatt Place - Southern Village for this month's seminar "How to Start a Business" with speaker, Abby Zarkin.

Abby Zarkin is an Executive Leadership Coach with over 30 years of corporate as well as hands-on entrepreneurial experience, holding management positions at both IBM and Lenovo. After retiring from Lenovo, she launched a specialty candy business based in Chapel Hill, NC.  As a SCORE certified coach and mentor, she advises new and existing small business owners on strategies and plans to further their success.

A few things she will discuss:

  • What it takes to be a successful entrepreneur
  • How to evaluate your business idea's feasibility
  • What are the critical steps of business planning
  • What local resources are available to help you
Lunch will be provided by "The Travelling Cafe."
