WakeMed Rehabilitation Hospital has been recognized as one of the top inpatient physical rehabilitation centers in the United States, according to a new ranking released by Newsweek and Statista. The 2025 list highlights 320 leading facilities across the country, with WakeMed named as the top facility in North Carolina for the second year in a row.

Located within the WakeMed Raleigh Campus, WakeMed Rehabilitation Hospital is a 73-bed inpatient center that offers comprehensive rehabilitation services. The hospital is noted for its strong patient outcomes and clinical expertise. Its team provides care for both adults and children recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic issues, trauma, or limb loss. These services are delivered through programs accredited by CARF, which is considered the highest level of accreditation for rehabilitation facilities.
