City of Bessemer City issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
The City has been working diligently to collect leaves this fall.
Currently, only one leaf vacuum truck is operational, and the other is waiting for repairs.
Due to a shipping delay for repair parts, the City is continuing to operate leaf collection with one leaf vacuum truck.
