City of Belmont Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.
On Monday October 31, 2022 the Belmont Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the State Employee’s Credit Union.
At 1:23 pm, a black male entered the bank, located at 7225 Wilkinson Blvd, wearing a black hoodie, black face mask, black sweat pants, and blue fanny pack. No weapon was displayed, and no one was injured during the incident. The unknown suspect(s) left in a dark colored SUV.
The vehicle was last seen headed West on Wilkinson Blvd / US 29-74.The Robbery is currently under investigation by the Detective Bureau of the Belmont Police Department.
