City of Boiling Spring Lakes issued the following announcement on Apr. 14.
Unfortunately, the City has been informed that our dam restoration project does not qualify for FEMA's BRIC funding (the $9,000,000 appropriation funds we were applying for). Therefore, we must cancel our letter writing campaign. We very much appreciate your show of support. Our Board of Commissioners and City Manager are working diligently to find another grant where our dam restoration project fits.
