City of Belmont issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.
The NCDOT is paving South Main Street between Central Ave and Dogwood Lane today and should complete the work by the end of the day. Please exercise caution if traveling through the area and expect congestion. School traffic can use Davis Park as a detour this afternoon.
