August 2019: Matthews experienced a 14.9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Matthews rose by $35,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $270,000 - a 14.9% increase over the $235,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Matthews in August 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Matthews for 2019 was $2,181. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,181, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.8%.
