August 2019: Home prices in Monroe increased

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Monroe rose by $25,000 while total sales decreased by 13.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 66 homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,500 - a 13.6% increase over the $183,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in Monroe in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Monroe for 2019 was $1,109. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,106. This marks an increase of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.5%.
