Home prices increased in Matthews during September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Matthews rose by $85,000 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $341,000 - a 33.2% increase over the $256,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Matthews in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Matthews for 2019 was $2,181. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,181, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.6%.
