The third quarter of 2019: Marshville experienced a 9.9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Marshville rose by $15,250 while total sales decreased by 52%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,250 - a 9.9% increase over the $154,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Marshville in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Marshville for 2019 was $1,110. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,108. This marks an increase of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.7%.
