Median home prices in Waxhaw rose to $445,000 in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Waxhaw rose by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 42.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 117 homes sold, with a median sale price of $445,000 - a 4.7% increase over the $425,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 203 homes sold in Waxhaw in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Waxhaw for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,503, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
