Charlotte median home prices rose by 1% in the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Charlotte rose by $2,250 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,750 - a 1% increase over the $227,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Charlotte in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,243, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
