Home prices increased in Kannapolis during the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Kannapolis rose by $4,750 while total sales decreased by 25.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 178 homes sold, with a median sale price of $162,000 - a 3% increase over the $157,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 238 homes sold in Kannapolis in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Kannapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,384, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
