The second quarter of 2021: Harrisburg experienced a 13.9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Harrisburg rose by $42,500 while total sales decreased by 18.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 66 homes sold, with a median sale price of $347,500 - a 13.9% increase over the $305,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in Harrisburg in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Harrisburg for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,322, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
