What happened to the median home price in Locust during the second quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Locust rose by $22,750 while total sales decreased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $313,500 - a 7.8% increase over the $290,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Locust in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Locust for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,474, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
