How did home prices perform in Charlotte during the second quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Charlotte rose by $47,000 while total sales increased by 36.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 5,048 homes sold, with a median sale price of $307,000 - a 18.1% increase over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 3,698 homes sold in Charlotte in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,071, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
