Mount Pleasant home prices rose in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Mount Pleasant rose by $5,250 while total sales increased by 77.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $268,750 - a 2% increase over the $263,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,571, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
