Home prices increased in Charlotte during September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Charlotte rose by $149,000 while total sales decreased by 71.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $344,000 - a 76.4% increase over the $195,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Charlotte in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for 2019 was $1,243. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,209. This marks an increase of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.4%.
