September 2019: Harrisburg experienced a 6.9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Harrisburg rose by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 11.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $311,500 - a 6.9% increase over the $291,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Harrisburg in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Harrisburg for 2019 was $2,322. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,263. This marks an increase of 2.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.7%.
